    It Aint Easy

Saturday marked 6 weeks since I closed the Burleigh Heads Store.  I thought Id be in a position to begin the relaunch but instead Im sitting here kicking myself that I haven't worked hard or smart enough to achieve what I wanted. Not having the  bricks a mortar store to go and work from has made it hard to keep focused and working for someone else again is giving me that fake busy feeling which is giving me excuses not to push on with my own work.  Mix that with being struck with the flu and never ending household bills I feel like I haven't gotten anywhere.  My room is…

    Dream. Plan. Do.

After working for myself for such a long time the last 2 weeks have made me realise how much I was taking it for granted that I could pop out for a coffee or ciggie when I liked...Its also been a huge eye opener that even though I was keeping busy I wasn't using my time as  productively as I thought or as I should of been. Starting from zero…

This month I lost the space I trade Four Letter Store from.  It was sudden and I didn't see it coming. I also didn't have the foresight to plan ahead incase a situation like this eventuated...I pretty much had 2 solid options. Give up, which is not want I want to do, easier yes, safer yes, but not what I want. Or to take a huge step backwards and just start again which is the route I'm taking.

    Four Letter Store

WELL THAT DIDN’T GO TO PLAN.. I opened my first fashion shop up about 18 months ago…It has NOT been an easy ride. Fun? Yes. Rewarding? Yes. Learning curve? Yes. Easy? NO !!!! 2 shop spaces, a whole bunch of bills and heaps of fails later Im relaunching my fashion boutique with what I have learnt so far in the real world. I went into it guns blazing and thinking I knew what was involved with having to run my own store from the prior career experience I had….I learnt very fucking quickly I definitely did not.
